Certified Instructor at Hariarts Academy
Hima is a professional artist, certified art instructor, and mentor at Hariarts Academy. With an M.Tech background and previous experience as an Assistant Professor, she brings together strong technical understanding, teaching experience, and artistic skill.
She has received advanced training in realistic and hyperrealistic drawing under artist and Hariarts Academy founder Hariprasad Sukumaran. As part of the academy’s mentoring team, she regularly guides students, reviews their artwork, and provides structured corrections to help them improve.
Her teaching focuses on strong fundamentals, clear step-by-step guidance, careful observation, and consistent practice. Beyond technique, she empowers students to sharpen their observation, build confidence, embrace the learning process, and discover their own artistic voice — making every class simple, enjoyable, and rewarding for learners of all levels.

Materials required
Only basic materials are needed — graphite pencils, a drawing book, an eraser, a sharpener, and a scale.
Nothing needs to be bought beyond these basics. If anything additional is required, we will inform you after enrollment.

Why I created this program
I have taught over 10,000 students the fundamentals of realistic drawing. With this kids' program, I wanted to give children the strong foundation that most beginners never receive — understanding how drawing works, instead of just copying pictures.
I have personally designed and structured this entire curriculum. The live classes are taught by Hima. S, a Certified Instructor at Hariarts Academy, so your child learns this proven method with the patient, hands-on guidance young learners need.
